Just watched programme on channel 4 about the ex blue peter presenters pretending to be an Abba tribute band and having to play @ oxygen festival to 70,000 people .
Thats not quite true. After dancing to prodigy on the saturday of oxygen, I distinctly remember walking back through the main arena at the end of the night with a group of lovely irish lads. the arean was bear apart from rubbish and a handful of people left at the very front watching the abba thing. I remember joking with the guys that only a few people were left to watch them when they annoucned it was actually ex blue peter presenters, which confused the hell out of all of us! bless em.
Well went to Synthetic Culture @ Egg club in Kings Cross. Not a bad club actually good layout and good music. Its a posh slimelight. You don't feel dirty at the end of the night!
Still, im getting more and more weary of the pretentious attitudes of people within this 'scene'. Don't get me wrong, there are some lovely genuine people out there, but sometimes the attitude of some people wears me down... sometimes i just wanna give up with the whole thing.
The house is empty due to housemates on holiday in spain. I can't believe how quiet it is.
I've made a few decisions recently which i hope i can follow through. My day job is coming up to a critical point where I will either sink or swim. Its out of my control now anyway, so I will just have to wait and see.
As for my previous mentioned decisions, they are very much in my control. but i must stick to my guns.
