Graduating in DECEMBER!!!
All right! Here is my fall schedule right now. The three classes on Mondays and Wednesdays are, in order, Illustration, Intermediate Digital Photography, and Photography - untrue narratives. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have just the one class, Recording Studio Production. Fridays, yes that's right, I have NO CLASS. Added into that schedule will be the second semester of my Honors thesis and voice lessons (as part of my thesis, no juries for me next semester!). All this, plus one summer class (Advanced Figure Drawing) gets me....
A double BA in Studio Art and Vocal Studies with a thematic minor in Arts Management, graduating in December with Honors. ROCK ON. I am excited about next semester and my kick-ass schedule.
Alternatively, if I decided to take all these classes plus two more sociology-type classes, I would get a double BA in Studio Art and Music-integrated studies, with no minor. Huh? No thanks, I'll take the double major and minor for two fewer classes. It's a more accurate description of what I've done anyway, Integrated Studies doesn't even require lessons in an instrument at all, and I've taken 11 choirs and 6 semesters of voice lessons and 2 semesters of Diction for Singers. Arts Management minor says enough (more, actually cause it includes "artS" rather than just music - and nobody knows what the hell Integrated Studies means anyway.).
