Next few days (and then less immediately: weeks/months) are gonna be a test in money management + budgeting. (adult crap.) And then I'm back to something similar to last year's LA lifestyle- having NO real spending budget but still trying to exist socially anyway.
Will be in LA with weirdos for the next 4 days, and then I should start the everpresent deadly depressing jorb-hunt the second I'm back in San Jose. Again. :\ Luckily last week's paycheck will be waiting for me next Saturday with a little extra.
I had two really excellent conversations today, plus one pretty decent chat with my mom. (re)Connected with an old mate crazily comfortably and blew away a new one with an unnatural spurt of confidence/decision. Cute. Everybody's growing up and old.
Concert: slightly spontaneous, but I hear rumors that it'll be the last NIN show in a while.. and I want to be surrounded by shakey floors and shady people, grow deaf, and get moved. So, I'm excited. And unless I find a pal, it'll be a decent first big solitary adventure.
