[I don't feel like I can take this IC right now because if I'm in shock, I can't imagine how Eminem must really feel about this.
Proof was his best friend, his best man at his wedding, and just had a lot of history with growing up with him in rap and as a man in general. I don't know what the state of D12 would be, I don't know what state Eminem must be in, I can't know how to deal with something this traumatic and horrible without feeling like it's really disrespectful.
Last year, Eminem did a video called Toy Soldiers. The song was basically about how Eminem was ready to let go of the the big personal beefs with people who were insane to spare something bad happening to one of his friends. In the video Proof gets shot, and in the end he dies. So if this wasn't really fucked up enough already, that makes it even worse.
He's going through a divorce right now, and now his best friend was just murdered. Out of respect for the character I play, I'm going to put him on break for about a week like I did when his Uncle died over a year ago. I know a week can't cover it, but this is roleplay and you can't really put a realistic time limit on something like this. Everything planned (you know who you are) will have to be done next week and we'll talk about that later. Some of you know where to find me. As far as the IC part of this, I'll have to deal with it then.
