Paige and Lucas were married this Saturday. It was an awesome wedding, and of course, Paige being Paige had to replace the Bridal walk theme with the Imperial March (the Metallica cover.) It was interesting an awesome. I'm so happy for those two

this country has no idea what "sexually free" means. it's just simultaneously sex-obssessed and sexually repressed. people don't know how to deal with it, so stupid shows end up expressing it.
if we were really sexually free, we wouldn't have such big issues with STDs and teenage pregnancy. people would know how to be safe.
anorexia comes from the societal image of beauty: stick thin. which is bullshit because women are supposed to have fat. and a good amount of it.
high divorce rates come from a repressed society that doesn't know how to deal with relationships. americans expect everything to be fast, but relationships take time. they want problems to be solved immediately but it doesn't work that way, so they give up. tho sometimes divorce is totally necessary. but 50% of the time is a bit much. people marry too fast and too young and don't know how to deal with problems that inevitably arise.

if our society was actually "sexually free" shows about sex wouldn't be so successful. they'd be normal, and thus boring. people are interested because it's their sexual feelings affirmed. everyone is sexual, we're just not raised to talk about it here.

I'd have to agree with you on relationship issues; too many people think that the current course of our society is going to automatically fix itself, while other people don't see the high divorce rate as a problem; just a fact of life. Meanwhile children are the ones who suffer for their parents problems.
