Ya, it wasn't bed time yet, I guess. My roommate (who keeps a cup beside his bed that he spits his loogies in and keeps) is up reading. So I guess I have a bit more news. I got to use spanish IN FRENCH CLASS today. Wicked awesome. Totally boss. Hecka rad. My French teacher speaks 12 languages Completely Fluently, and pieces of a number of others, namely spanish. So I was talking to him in spanish, but everything in my mind went to French before Spanish, just because I am so used to speaking to him in French that my mind was having a hard time with it. He explained that our minds associate EVERYTHING with language, including people. So it is much easier for me to speak to my spanish teacher in spanish than with my french teacher. (I had a bit of trouble speaking quickly with him) he said that he had the same problem with his french and arabic teachers. Aparently, he has never taken any spanish classes, but he just picked it up from what he hears around campus. I would say that he can talk like someone who just started High school spanish 3. And he just picked it up from listening. I tell you, this man is a genius. He is actually working on a project to unite most of North-Western Africa's many alphabets so translations are much easier (as well as learning new languages) Africa has quite a few alphabets with influence from everything from Arabic to English to Cantonese. And he Speaks nearly every language in northwest africa and can transition from one to the other instantly. So he decided that he should make it easier for other people to do the same thing and take away the obsticals of foreign alphabets. He says that they would learn new alphabets the same way we learn cursive in elementary school. Oh, and apart from that, I am now seriously going to bed.
