So, a 10 year old boy got his last wish to go bear hunting before he died, and it made national headlines. Im not taking away from his life, but where are the headlines for everyone else.
One of my brother's really good friends dies of Muscular Dystrophy over the weekend. Garth Dennis and his family were pretty close to a second family to my brother between their second and 6 grade years. Whether it was Ry pushing the wheel chair, or if it was Brin Ferguson, or Clay Boggess, no matter who it was they were always smiling, and usually in trouble.
Garth was a funny kid, last time i saw him he was in his electric wheel chair powering his way around the woods of his new house in Monticello Fl. That was close to ten years ago.
The Dennis' are in our thought and prayers, and so are all the many people lucky to call Garth their friend.
