(present company excluded)

It's very kind of you to excuse those of us who didn't do any of the above (seriously, the Trix bunny needs to get over his damn self) and yet do not watch Arrested Development. What can I say? To watch or not to watch Arrested Development is a personal choice every woman needs to make for herself. But I will defend to the death your right to make that choice.

I totally agree. To your face. But behind your back, I'm going to start referring to you as "Part of the Problem."

I am far less kind. I think you should only be allowed to not watch Arrested Development if you don't watch any other shows, either. Or at very least, you have to ignore The O.C.

So you don't want a piece of my awesome O.C./AD crossover pitch?

Also, I think if the first Charlize ep was the season premiere, more people would like it.

But it's that kind of thinking that encourages Fox to show stuff out of order!!

(Actually, I have to say, everyone in these Serenity articles mentions how Fox aired Firefly out of order... which is annoying BUT... I had a hard time with the pilot, and liked the show more when I skipped straight to "The Train Job," which was Fox's choice for the premiere episode; I have to say, I see the logic in that.)

Anyway, I think the first episode of the season was a bit funnier than the Charlize one, but really, at this point, they've had three consecutive seasons of droppings ratings. It's hard not to read that as wholesale audience rejection. Which in turn is hard not to read as stupidity on a massive scale. Pretty much the only hope right now is that Fox will say "eh, we don't care, we get prestige" and keep renewing it.
