A few words about OK Go - Oh No before I go-go:

*I've listened to this a couple times thanks to Curtis's sneaky-sneaky, and I've decided that it definitely sounds more Classic Rock than Killers (with additional 80s thrown in--oh God, I sound like one of those people from the Kicking and Screaming writing class). While I'm not sure if I like this sound better or worse than the first album, I'm glad the two albums are distinct from each other.

*I think it is a little weak that a lot of their choruses are either one word or one line repeated a few times. See: "Invincible," "Here It Goes Again," "A Good Idea at the Time," "A Million Ways," "No Sign of Life," "Let It Rain," and "Television, Television."

*It's also a little lame that my copy boasts this "Best Buy Exclusive" access to the video for "A Million Ways." Uh, you mean the video that's been on their website forever? (Note to everybody: Watch the video! The video is amazing.) But my copy was only ten bucks, so I can't really complain about that.

*"Let It Rain" is this year's "Shortly Before the End," but better.

*"Oh Lately It's So Quiet," is incredible, and pure happiness distilled into song form.

*Other songs I find particularly strong: "Do What You Want," "Here it Goes Again," "A Million Ways."

*I love the design and the liner notes, even though Actual Andy is on the album but Replacement Andy is in the photographs. Still, those are suits I can get behind.

*I was playing the cd in my computer since everything I own is rubbish (and broken), and there is a 34-minute "bonus track" with nothing on it at the end. Does anybody know what the deal is?

Anyway, I got to bone up on this album because I'm going to go see them with my mom. My mom out rocks you all.

ok go, music
