He's also very happy to let people snuggle her for extended intervals. Just come to the Pembury on Sunday or Tuesday: the two of them are usually there.

The New Forest Show used to have ferret racing, and is fun to check out anyway.

Ta. Looks awesome. The Weald and Downland Heavy Horse show is a contender also, being in May, and close to a relative I could visit at the same time.

Also Middle Farm (which also houses the National Cider and Perri collection) between Lewes and Eastbourne on the A27 has Ferrets as part of their animal farm collection. They also have a large number of rare breed chickens like Bantams and one whose name I can't remember, but looks like it has a lampshade on its head (you'll recognise it if you see it).

If you google Middle Farm and Sussex you will find it. *grin*

I like Middle Farm very much! The ridiculous chickens! The copious cider! And, indeed, last time I went I hung out by the ferret enclosure. One of them (possible Wolverine) staggered out of the hammocks, yawned, then went back in.

Maybe if I emailed ahead and paid a small sum I could interact with them.

This is a good plan, as it's always a nice day out, as well.

Try Joe Grundy? Oh no, he murdered them some years ago in a fit of home-loss mania. Sorry.
