Yes, there does seem to be a spate of violent death in this city of late.

Yes, I am in possession of several surgical-grade bladed instruments.

Yes, they will test positive for human blood protein.

I imagine this would all be very suspicious if I wasn't the coroner.

I will admit, being accused of not cutting up dead bodies is a new one for me.

Who cares about the dead bodies, it's the live ones... Wait... If they were killed then they'd be dead, so... But then it's... Um...

... OI. SHUT UP.

I've never trusted you surgical-types. No one who wields a scalpel is fit to live among normal citizens! CONFESS YOUR CRIMES!

No, go on, I'll wait.

Well, I might still have an unpaid parking ticket somewhere.

What does being a coroner have to do with anything?

Quite a lot, when we're having one of those days where the body count seems disproportionately high in relation to the city's population.

At the very least, I'm that much busier.

Oh, well, I guess.

So, what's a coroner?

A medical professional whose duty is to investigate and determine cause of death, particularly those which occur under suspicious circumstances.

Mm, paranoia seems to be running at a high; I was just attempting to reduce potential inconvenience.

While I usually have nothing against humouring people, I find myself a touch busy today, for reasons which may possibly be obvious.

I would say to just go about your business without explanations~.

Fine advice. Although that doesn't stop some people, and I'm afraid I find myself not in much of a mood for interruptions.
