I dreamt that Kingdom Hearts was finally coming to an end. Everyone was super excited for the release, and me especially since I love the series. Mostly, everyone knew this was going to be sort of like "the fan-service episode" and stoked for Sora/Riku. What actually happened is that all the characters EXCEPT Sora and Riku were being shown, which motivated people more to get through the game.
The game was also tying everything up, but it was pullng a Harry Potter and killing EVERYONE. Now, the dream didn't look like Kingdom Hearts at all. It looked like the troll's world from Homestuck. Actually, only Sora and Riku were there from the game, everyone else was ... well, from Lord of the Rings. Or based on Lord of the Rings. I don't really remember the troup that was the main good guys, except a few.
Like Kingdom Hearts, the dream revisited all the worlds and all the bad guys you'd beaten. One of the worlds in particular had someone who looked like Ganon, who had three fairies who assisted him. I remember one was blonde, one a red-head, and the other green from head to toe. Her fingers and hair looked like vines, the fingers tipped with suction cups. She was excited to meet Legolas, who had green skin in this dream. Basically the revisit showed the bad guys not being so bad.
There was another part of the game which hadn't had closure, and that was a part with Katara. Katara didn't actually look like Katara, since she was very white with brown hair. She was our healer (of her own volition) and had chosen to stay in one of the worlds because everyone would have been killed if she didn't. She belonged with the royal family because her "magic" was similar to the magic the people in that world posessed. Katara was the only one with powers like her own in our troup - water-bending.
But when she stayed with the family she slowly lost her powers. At first she had been respected by the Court but soon became a joke. The prince who had forced her to stay wasn't even trying to protect her. It happened that as Katara stayed longer she was falling in love with him (he was a red-head, with a square face and a lazy eye, but no means unattractive. Just arrogant, and with no regards to others). She was sensible enough not to act or saying anything on her feelings, but she was becoming jealous as she watched the Prince court one of his female guards (tall, with wild blonde hair, and extremely no-nonsense. Now that I think about it, she looked a lot like Beatrix from Final Fantasy IX). We'll-call-her-Beatrix hated the Prince but tolerated his advances. Katara was thinking about reporting to the Prince's wife, who was an older, powerful, witch who was well-respected. Katara was worried the witch wouldn't believe her though, and accuse her of trying to sully the Prince's reputation because Katara was losing face.
The group shows up in the middle of all this and Katara is conflicted between staying and leaving. The Court doesn't care, but she's developed some Stockholm Syndrome, having finally gotten used to her new life. The troup doesn't understand the who ordeal. The dream never came to a conclusion.
The layout of the game was sort of like ships. Actually, the ships were part of the flashback, because there was an accompanying story with each movement to each ship in the game. The only one I remember though is the second ship, which was ... Luffy from One Piece's fault.
He thought it was cool so he dragged everyone under the ocean to do the level on the ghost ship even though it was optional. Everyone nearly died for real.
The first level was a introduction level.
The second a ghost ship.
The third a tree-ship (It was basically a tree-house in the form of a ship. Pretty awesome).
The fourth a wooden cargo ship, not unlike the Peter Pan level.
The fifth was an airship.
I have to explain the airship and the witch a bit. The witch was a character from another one of my stories ... who flies around in an airship. So the last level, I think, was based off that.
