Sometimes when I dream there's this specific world that appears. It's a world filled with water, the edge of an ocean that has great sorrow and little joy. Whenever I dream of this world the people are inevitably drawn to sail in the water out of necessity, even though their lives would probably be better if they wouldn't.
Last night, this world crossed with the kids from Homestuck. The three were looking for something. What made it worse is that as a reader I'm thinking, "Oh, well, they'll make it. Something will be lost, but they'll make it."
Of course a huge storm happened. There had been sailors with them, and one person after another was eaten by the ocean. Only the kids were left, until finally the ship was so destroyed it couldn't go on.
As a reader I was certain they would die. But they didn't. The ship fell apart on top of a plateau that was next to an island. Suddenly I was angry, "No. There's only so much luck that can be used. They should have died."
The dream continued. It got a little strange after that. There was a dinner party where the women danced with a certain man to get a tiara. If they were the last person to dance with the man they could continue wearing it, but had to give it to the next woman to dance with him.
The kids walked into a surprise party and were eagerly invited (Actually, I'm almost sure by that point they had turned from the Homestuck kids to the Avatar kids).
Looking back, this took place in the world (Which I've never mentioned before) that if they had gone too deep, they would have entered a tunnel of sewers teaming with rats and got hopelessly lost. All these things were happening in the same building, one I've mentioned before, the one with all the doors that could lead to anywhere.
Then my perspective went back to that of a reader, "This is too weird. It's like a dream ... are they dreaming? Are they not quite dead and are still dreaming?"
So I asked Andrew Hussie if this was the case.
He just kind of snorted at me (He looked like his troll-self when I spoke to him), "You're thinking about this too much. I bet you feel smart asking all these questions."
I just scowled at him for being rude, "Not really. Just confused."
And a bunch of other dreams happened after that, that were different from these.
This dream-world always leaves me sad. The only part of this world that hasn't, is during one of my flying dreams when I fly to these huge sea cliffs, surrounded by water.
