I'm having mixed feelings about "Na Na Na" and "SING". They were too pop for me, and I feel like MCR just isn't supposed to do pop. Maybe that's because I'm so used to years of ... whatever style they're considered.

I wasn't as fond of Welcome to the Black Parade as I was Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love is alright, but they sound young. I probably would have liked it if I hadn't jumped aboard the bandwagon after "Helena".

Cheers will always be my favourite, I think. But, I see that they're moving on to different sounds which is great for any artist. I would hate for my favourite band to get stale when they're obviously talented musicians, and good artists experiment.

However, I'm not sure how I feel about them going to pop. I like "SING", but when I really pay attention, it sounds like all the other rock bands right now. I probably wouldn't have been able to tell it was Gerard Way singing if I had just heard "SING" on the radio. One of the reasons MCR is my favourite band is because they don't sound like everyone else. I think this is changing.

What's confusing is that I like "Na Na Na" and "SING", but for the reasons above, I don't want to like them because MCR did the songs and they're catchy. I want to like them because they're good, and I just don't think they are.
