I adore these kind of stories, little snapshots of life after Chicago, of how they've worked through the first steps of the dance of getting acquainted and settled into the rhythm of daily living. Lovely. Thanks so much.
'Cause getting used to having what you always wanted didn't mean you didn't remember when you didn't have anything at all.
Oh, Ray.
This reminds me of the poem by Robert Browning (and yes, I had to Google for the author *g): "Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be, the last of life for which the first was made." Not that Ray's exactly old here, but it fits. Gorgeous story, I really like it.
Oh this is pretty fucking good! *does first comment dance* That is so damn Ray, and you made Fraser sexy and demanding, but still Fraser- I love 'lets unwind the Mountie' stories! So many great character moments, thanks for this Llassah xxx
I got started writing this thinking about what Fraser would be like if he became confident enough in their relationship to take Ray for granted, without the exploitative connotations. Was a fun train of thought, and I'm delighted you like the resulting fic. Thanks!
Thank you very much for writing this! It was hot and sweet and just plain yummy-- which, believe it or not, is just what a girl needs when she's facing down a night duty of cleaning up dog wee ^_^;;
Your devotion to the care and tending of the feathered and furry set will never surprise me. Impress, awe, bewilder, but not surprise.
(Good) feedback is awesome, awesome stuff, isn't it? I'm glad you're sharing in the joy, cause *sniffs, makes big brave doe eyes* I couldn't have done it without you.

I'm glad you liked that sentence. Because as true as I felt it was, it's one of the awkwardest things ever written. "Didn't" times three! sheesh.
