Man oh man, do I love challenges. ds_c6d_bigbang, DS Match, yes. I'm already looking forward to DS Seekrit Santa. (This might have something to do with the fact that if it weren't for challenges, I wouldn't be writing at all. This is a very good reason for the love, I say. Also, other people write stuff, too! Win.)
My folks are visiting and I'm far less grouchy than the last time I saw them. This is good. I realized after the last time that some of what was irritating me was, um.
Me: God, Dad! Just make up your mind already! You're dithering.
Dad: Large swathes of my brain don't work anymore. Also, you suck.
When I'm not massively irritable? My folks are cool. ♥
In other RL news, my long-delayed and stressy paperworky stuff leftover from that time I got divorced? DONE. Sweet. *shimmies a suave little celebratory shimmy* Feels damn good.
Savvy observers will indubitably have noticed that I'm in a period of being very, very quiet online. That's so the rascally rabbit doesn't get me. So far, so good.
ETA: Oh crap! I forgot to add my yay and hearts and happy smiles over my snippet from the mysterious and dashing ficlateer. It's really cool, and I love how it's matched with the Reality version. Hee! I'm looking forward to reading all the snippets. ♥
