I'm an awkward situation magnet

May 14, 2005 22:55

So I'm leaving the theatre after striking the set and it's raining outside pretty heavily. I've got my guitar with me and Kris tells me he'll pick me up in front of the theatre.

When I get outside I see a white car (which Kris drives) and run over to it, open the back seat, throw my guitar in, get in, and start talking.

Only it's not Kris' car. It's not Kris in the car. It's a man. A very confused man...who says nothing--and has apparently just been watching me do all these things.

I tried to come up with an explanation but only got as much as "ummm...yeah...uh..so my friend was gonna.....bye!" and ran away.

Interesting.

SO MY SHOW IS DONE. FINALLY.

TO further clarify, I've been touring with 2 shows since mid January. Think about this....touring with 2 shows since January.

We perform 2 shows a day, 5 days a week.

I've done literally close to 150 performances of the same 2 shows. I'm worn out.
But I feel like a real actor, hehe.

Anyway---be home in 8 days. It gets closer and closer.

I keep seeming to come across more acting opportunities that I'm not gonna take just cause I wanna be home for awhile. I hope that's smart. I think it will be.

I didn't know Napoleon Dynamite had deleted scenes until I accidently stumbled upon them.
VOTE FOR PEDRO.

Anyway, have a great night and remember to brush at least twice a day.

It's just good sense.
