car accident update
So this is what happened...
I was driving down Higgins and Landmeier, just cruisin along probably around 47mph, when a 76 year old lady decided to take a left turn in her Buick into me. I had the right of way cuz my light was green. So my car is completely totalled. It doesn't look pretty. Some random dude helped me outta the passenger side of car cuz my door was smashed in. I woulda stayed put but they pointed out my car was smoking and I should probably get out. I called my mom, then Raul, then Rex cuz i couldn't find Raul. They put me on a stretcher and put a neck collar on me cuz i hurt. I couldn't straighten my legs cuz they thought i had fractured my pelvis. All I could do was shake probably from shock. There was blood on my pantz so they cut them off. I was put in an ambulance which people know is not gonna be easy for me. They took me to Alexian brothers. Anyhoo... I'm gonna be out for another 2 weekz according to the doctor. Supposed to take it easy. Thanks to Rex and RJ for visiting me. Thanks to the friends that called to check up on me, its makes me happy that I matter to you. Thanks for Raul for being my nurse and chauffer the last few days, it meanz more to me than you know. Raul braved meeting my dad for the first time at the hospital that day. What a way for my boyfriend to be reintroduced to my parentz. Yikes. Oh yeah as a sidenote, Raul and I are officially together as of Oct 15th. Took us long enough... Anyhoo, I think my parents like him cuz he takes care of me. My mommy was the one that says 'my nurse is here' when she sees Raul pull up to the house.
I should get going now, staying upright makes me dizzy and nauseated still...
