Ever been to pandora.com? Give the lady a try. She won't bite. What is it? An extension of someting called the Music Genome Project. It's an experimental internet radio station which attempts to expose you to a good mix of contemporary and obscure music that you actually like to here.

My first station input was "foo fighters" and I really like what it's been playing since. There's a phase, about 4 or 5 songs in, where it starts to get a little wild and odd. Just make sure to tell it if you don't like what it's playing and you'll be groovin again by song 7 or 8.
Since it's late at night, and I've got some homework to work on still, I think I'll try putting in "Jack Johnson" and seeing what it plays me.
