you can preach. just not in certain areas. like a public school. it's a governmental institution. there are places to preach and there are places where its not appropriate. there are other places you can preach... haven't you seen people preach on TV? have people ever come to your door? have you ever gotten mail about it? or even email? have you seen the guy on the soapbox in nyc or wearing the billboard over his shoulders? or hey, how about this... in livejournal or any other part of the internet? you just can't preach in governmental run places. and when it comes to the work place, its up to the work place to decide... it's just most of them try to go that whole route of political correctness and they don't allow it.

and you're right... offering a choice isn't infringing on people's rights. thats what same sex marriage is trying to allow and abortion... a choice. because you're not offering an opinion on a choice... you want to disallow that choice. that's quite different.

oh and what's kind of funny is... i can't find God in the constitution. maybe i'm crazy or maybe my search function isn't working right (i'm not gonna read the whole thing)... but it says God isn't in it.

and the declaration of independence just can't be unconstitutional no matter what it says. for one, its not a real document pertaining to our current government. it was written well before the constitution... it was written even before the articles of confederation. it's not a law document. its what it says it is... our declaration of independence.
