The waves are righteous (or if not III and IX will correct it soon enough), the sun is brilliant in the bright blue sky, and the layers of the party can best be defined as "in the water", "above the water" and "using the wind to get from one to the other".
Gravity has been set exactly 180 degrees from normal: the ground is the sky. There will be no uncomfortable sand in uncomfortable places.
There are umbrellas set up for shade, and tables for food and drink. Changing booths if people demand them can be found, all bright colors and patterns.
