I didn't actually attend the event called Flugtag, but I've always been curious to check it out. It's the second time I've heard about it being held here in Portland, and surely gathers a lot of zombies... typically called people. We did pass by, well, more like squeezed our way through the people trying to see what was actually going on which I'm sure the larger percentage had no view but the back of hundreds of people heads.













If you're able to see the RV plunging off the edge of the Red Bull platform, then kudos to you.



As you can see, I wasn't able to see much of anything either except for the crowd of people on the bridge and on the waterfront.
What's my opinion on such an event? Positive, the creativity of the... things that are supposed to fly, but don't. Negative, the thought of all those people ending up in that dirty, contaminated, disgusting, disease laden river.

My highlight of the day was purchasing Cormac McCarthy's "The Road".
