A Workin' Class Hero is Something to Be.
So I now have two jobs. 1)Deliveries for Lou Malnati's. not a HORRIBLE gig by any stretch, but not incredibly lucrative, and driving for a job is pretty cool (other than the outrageous price of gas... uuuughhh). 2)just picked up a job at Borders in Evanston (across from Century theatres) and i'll be working in the Cafe. i'm actually pretty stoked. better pay, MANY more hours, and even at a part-time status, BENEFITS. SWEEEEEET, and also really important. this is a real big step towards getting a credit card, and give it about 2 or 3 months of saving like a mofo, budgeting my cash (Justin, i'm gonna be calling you pretty soon), and BAM... finally my own place to live. but to pay my CURRENT bills first... hmm...
the next few weeks will be interesting.
also, a number of friends have come back for thier respective spring breaks, and i'm enjoying the company of old friends to the max. But, now, just as Bobby is getting back in, i'm starting a near full-time job (about 30 hrs a week).
If coffee is your thing, stop in to borders a week from today (it's friday now) and i think the Cafe will be finished (they have to build it next week). That or comment and we'll get coffee sometime (Mrs. Roszypal, i'm lookin at you!!)
