Slice Nostalgia
So I found this lj community called "pittkiddies". Full of new freshmen asking questions about the Towers, life at Pitt, etc etc. They're so excited. It really makes me quite nostalgic.
I started college SEVEN years ago. Seven years ago I was that kid getting ready to live in a slice. Slice 801, to be exact. I wish I was still that kid, totally thrilled to be packing up the blue pickup truck with all my fun new college stuff and heading to Pitt.
So, how is it that I can barely remember life in the Towers? I really don't. Not much, anyhow. Even life on Bouquet St is starting to feel like a lifetime ago.
I hate being a "grown up".
