My Easter weekend was awesome with jasmine, stephanie, and april. We had such a great time keeping ourselves amused. I'll give more details on that later. Now for more important things....
I'm seriously considering a change in major. The only thing i was ever sure i wanted to do was heart surgery. But the more I think about it, the less I think I want to do it. Well, I still want to do it, but I need a logical backup. Majoring in biology is retarded, because unless you get accepted into med school, the only thing you can do with that degree is teach. And i DO NOT want to teach. So....I think i want an accounting degree. But, i dont think they have a bachelors for that, only business administration, and then masters in accounting. Which i'm not about to do. So if that doesn't work out, I'm going to major in Chemistry. I hate chemistry, but it's much more practical. And then I thought, Pharmacy school instead of med school. I used to want to do that before i thought of med school. and my dad, uncle, and two cousins are all pharmacists...it runs in the family. i'm guaranteed to be good at it. and it's still a medically related field.
so until i decided FOR SURE, i'm going to do all the pre-reqs that med school and pharmacy school have in common. so i will still have a year to decide. but i'm pretty sure that the more i think about it, the more i'm going to lean into pharmacy. and if i do pharmacy, i may get to go out of state for pharm. school. dunno where, cuz that's still a ways off.
all i know is i have a lot of big goals to get covered. i still want to do my spring semester of junior year abroad, and i still want to minor in spanish, and i still want to graduate in four years.
i'm thinking right now my ideal school plan is to major in accounting, get my degree, have a minor in spanish, and do pharmacy school. wiht my luck the whole accounting thing wont work out. but we'll find out when i talk to my advisor.
which reminds me, the other sad thing about accounting, is i LOVE my advisor beign bobbie knight. that's just fun. granted, it's not THE bobbie knight, but it's still fun, and she's an awesome advisor. so we'll see what happens.
