The Turning Point
Hello all. I know *gasp* the creature LIVES!!! I’ve been in uber-lurker mode for these past few months, both online and in real life. Suffice it to say, I’ve been in a bit of a funk. The past few weeks have been spent making life-altering decisions. Said decisions made, and the first steps in their implementation taken, I feel surprisingly less burdened. My panic-stricken litany of ‘Oh my god I’m almost 25 (that’s ¼ of a century!) and I can no longer deny that yes I am really an adult and yes I really do have to get my head out of my arse and decide what to do with my life!’ has diminished in volume. It is no longer the soundtrack to my every waking (and sometimes sleeping) moment.
Maybe there is hope for me yet. We shall see.
