James Turner, creator of
Nil: A Land Beyond Belief and
Rex Libris, is interviewed at
Broken Frontier and
Comixtreme. (There is a Christina Aguilera ad on the Broken Frontier page that has really quiet audio, so quiet it sounded like whispering in my head. I though I was going crazy.)
At Comixtreme, James imparts some valuable advice: "Never underestimate the handicap of sloth." I would add, nor of neurosis. So be persistent and be as close as sane as you can muster, and the battle's half fought.
Rex Libris #6, the beginning of the new "Book of Monsters" story arc is available now and Rex Libris #7 will be out next week! Look for a special "Extra Credit" post on it here at this journal soon. I'll give you a look at entries from the encylopedic tome of beasties that James created for that issue.
The Rex Libris trade, collecting issues one through six of the series will be out in June!
Oh, and don't forget the
Rex Libris T-shirt and
limited-edition statue.
