City Year for some time now. It's a one year commitment and is part of Americorps. I wouldn't be paid too much (just a living stipend), but I'd get a $4,500 education award for grad school and could probably live at home if I'm able to stand the commute. I might also be able to take Spanish at night at a community college (Spanish seems essential for most education-related jobs in CA). And I'd rarely have things on Saturdays, so there's a lower chance of harcerstwo conflicts. And it's all related to youth and education and has more fun things too and seems less stressful than jumping in and teaching immediately. :)
