silly computers

I figured out how to burn dvds.  Basically, I always have to use software--if I try to just look at the blank disc as a folder, it will always tell me that there is 0 free space.  That just...doesn't seem right.  I shouldn't have to play around with silly software when all I want to to is simply copy and paste.

Meh, it's all part of DMR, they do all sorts of crazy things to keep you from being able to copy dvds easily, so you need a program that can get around the little tricks and traps that production companies use. -_-

But I wasn't trying to rip a dvd...I was using files that were already on my computer. It doesn't matter what types of files I'm trying to burn. It could be an essay about the food preferences of immigrant families that I wrote for school (MY intellectual property), and it would still tell me that there's zero free space on the blank dvd if I just look at the folder. I have so many pictures and things just eating space on my computers and I couldn't get them onto dvds for the longest time...
