Steve isn't feeling well. He came to visit me at Berkeley, but immediately had to lie down (bad headache). He periodically felt better and worse (his tummy started bothering him too). It took a turn for the worse after we watched New Earth, a Doctor Who episode all about diseases. And to make the situation even better--his parents just left for SoCal and will be gone through the weekend.
It's times like this when CS is the most frustrating. Not that I'd ever try to shove medicine down his throat or interfere too much, but with medicine it's possible to feel less useless. Couldn't even print out the Lesson from www.spirituality.com since they now charge for it (honestly, who charges for stuff like that??). All I could do was just play with his hair (he likes that) and sing Polish religious songs under my breath (we were on BART, so didn't want to be too loud).
Sigh.
