See that's one of the big problems for me, that the games aren't harder; I can knock out trainers and gym leaders no sweat whatsoever. That's what's annoying. Combined with the fact my pokemon evolve so fucking slow it's like what's the point? It's just annoying to raise pokemon or evolve others or find ones that are good because they're not going to be useful anyway.
I dislike that all the things I used to love doing in a game are now annoying to do (and pretty much pointless) and that I don't even need to bother buying revives or anything because I can sweep any sort of team with three pokemon. It's just annoying. If the trainers and gyms were more challenging, sure I'd find more reason to grind all the time, hunt out natures and specific breed. But they're not, and now I don't have a reason to do any of that so finding just basic good pokemon is a bitch and apparently not worth my time anyway. Which has pretty much ruined the entire point of why I enjoy playing pokemon games to begin with - to search out good pokemon, to breed them, to EV train them, all because if I don't I'm screwed. There just isn't a chance for good pokemon this gen unless I really, really try, specific breed and EV train, but apparently it's supposed to be ok because everyone else sucks so I don't need to do it anyway? Idk, that's just annoying to me.
