My birthday party
I decided to spend a party with a few of my friends today, just to celebrate my quarter of a century-ness. :P
The day started out whacked. I slept late, so I obviously woke up late. I needed to be at Amici's by 11 because management informed me last Thursday that they don't reserve seats during weekend peak hours so I just need to come by early.
Then why is the other available long table hosting a 'reserved' sign?
Being in such a good mood, my conversation with the cashier resulted with an apology and a seven hour chika time on table without being asked to leave.
Pepper came first, informing me that with my back to the door and my DS-stance (hunched shoulders, arms inward holding DS, head bent), people won't see me thus, assuming I wasn't there yet. So we changed seating positions and now, Mara is now facing the main door weeee~
Poldo came with GSeed DVDs. Talk time with pepper led to part two farting story and other misadventures and by then, nesan and Omi came by. I was also ordering the first batch of food by then.
Vica and Viktor/ Cherry came in next, and food binging has started. Pizza and Pasta was all over as nesan bonded with pepper and pepper making moves on Viktor with Vica looking the other way. I love it when people make me laugh.:P
Pepper left with Viktor for a 'smoke' and Renchan came in and we got to talking more. Tere and Carljoe also came.
Gifts received:
1. Mokona slippers- to match my over-sized Mokona doll. perfect for the beach!
2. Goya chocolates- Mint rules!!!!
3. Pseudo-chocobo- She speaks! and it's 'kweh' I shall name you Pistacio! Tacio for short!!!!!
4. The most gorgeous blank notebook with hardbound-ness and gold lining! I shall write again!!!!!
5. Cake- more on this later
Laughter was everywhere on the table which was good. I enjoy seeing my friends enjoy each other's company and I don't mind if I end up as being the listener during these times. This is my way of connecting, to touch base with reality.
Pepper and Viktor came back with a cake from Dezaato Pan, which was on the other end of Morato. I was stunned that they walked all the way there but happy that I had cake. and it was heart-shaped! the signs are good!
Pepper, Viktor, Vika and Tere were the first to go. I'm really glad you could make it, and Viktor, in light of everything that has happened, I hope you would still come next year.XP
Renchan and Cherry left next, this time for Trinoma. not before Elea read us our fortune. More on that in another blog.
So it was just me, nesan, adelle, poldo and carljoe.
I'm really bad with conversation retention so I can barely remember what they were talking about. All I know is it's all about geekery, people they know and comics.
We parted way around 6pm.
I'm glad I'm turning 25. It gives me more insight and chances to change what I am for the better. I'm glad I have friends who look out for me.
