In passing we meet
I sat alone that day
minding my own business as usual
Then who but lo, should pass me bye
Offering a hello
You sit and talk, asking how I am
I answer, surprised that this happened
That God granted me a second chance
To feel the magic again
We laugh, we talk, I beat you at your game
The sun casts bright colors upon us
I realize that it was meant to be
That this moment didn't pass us by
That I was at the right place, at the right time
And hoping, you came
A little incentive to keep me alive
and welcome each day.
Now you stand and bid farewell
I watch your back walk away
In a few days, the feeling will wear off
and that magical moment will fade into memory
Nonetheless, thanks for stopping by
thanks for the memories
A good feeling that clouded my mind
reminding me why I still keep living
smile
