I wonder if you could have made that any more an understatement.

[It's a very, very bizarre feeling, knowing that you're suddenly the only one from your own world, in this place. Both liberating, and terrifying at the same time.]

[Tyki lowers his head and massages his forehead with his fingertips.]

[No, he isn't. Tom truly couldn't give a damn. But everyone is panicking, which makes Tyki interesting.]

[Except, evil begets evil. Tyki knows that song and dance, which is exactly why he throws a nonchalant look at the PCD before reaching for it, and stuffing it in the pocket of his coat. Still on video, but it's too dark to see. Might as well be audio.]

That golden golem of his isn't flitting around?

No. It isn't. I searched the castle and I know a spell that tells me how many human beings are within the premises. He isn't there.

[Tyki's too busy heading out the door of his little mini-pub to really bother in asking about spells. Not that it matters much. There are stranger things, here in Adstringendum, aside from a witch or warlock or wizard.]

Unless it isn't in the castle. [And he's determined to try and find Timcampi now.]

I could help you search the surrounding area, if you like. Allen was kind to me when I first arrived. I could repay the favor.

[Tyki's voice is muffled for a moment - if he's listening close enough, he'll hear the word "tease" - before he speaks again.]

It would be appreciated. The boy didn't arrive with the golem. [And he's hoping he didn't leave with it, either.]
