100,000

I can't say that it's been a good month for writing, but I also can't say it's been a bad one.  I crossed 100,000 words on Sunday, which is farther than I've ever made it in a novel (not counting the really bad one that I finished when I was 13).  My average writing speed continues to creep up, including a new personal record of 7+ pages in an hour.  Six months ago, a four-page hour was cause for celebration.  Now it's disappointingly slow.  I've written at least 250 words on 91 days out of the last 100, and 48 out of the last 50.  And yesterday while driving to work, I was smacked in the head with the resolution to the big plot problem that's been dogging me since I started this novel.  On the other hand, most of the writing for the last couple of weeks has been like pulling teeth.  Or rather, getting started has been like pulling teeth.  Once I've started, I can usually keep going, but I have a recurring case of "I don't wanna!"  It probably doesn't help that a weird schedule and some unexpected traveling resulted in me missing about half my medication for a couple of weeks in the middle.  If I was in doubt about whether I needed the meds, I'm not now.  Oh, and my enter key still isn't working!  Just on LJ, annoyingly enough.  I can always copy-paste into Word or Notepad, but it's still starting to aggravate me.
