The HeadCanon Meme
1: His first name is Jared, but only a very few people even know his first name, and only extremely close friends call him by it.
2: Rhys has a total of 18 piercings: 5 in each ear, his eyebrow, his tongue, and six more that are probably best left unmentioned in polite company.
3: Rhys is partially blind in his left eye from surviving a black curse. The witch he was confronting at the time tried to kill him with a stroke. He survived: she didn't, but the eye never fully recovered.
4: His favorite booze is Stoli Raspberry vodka, either straight or mixed with ginger ale.
5: Rhys casually smokes homemade herbal cigarettes or Honeyrose herbal cigs- usually vanilla or cherry.
6: He's left-handed.
7. Rhys is actually a fairly talented sketch artist. When he was younger, he thought about art school or possibly becoming a tattoo artist, but it never quite worked out that way. He still keeps sketchbooks, both personal and related to his hunting work, however.
8. Rhys has a mild phobia of dolls. This comes from an incident a couple of years ago where an extremely nasty spirit bound inside a child's Victorian porcelain doll threw him down a flight of stairs, breaking an arm, a leg, and two of his ribs.
9: Due to his empathic nature, Rhys is sensitive to death and severe negative psychic/emotional feedback- it can make him physically ill. However, on the flip side, he can also get mildly high on positive emotions and energy.
10: Rhys's father threw him out of the house at the age of 17 and disowned him completely, telling his younger sister he died of a drug overdose to keep her from trying to contact him again. Because of this, he understandably has some self-esteem and abandonment issues.
11: Rhys cannot grow a beard. At ALL. He's tried and the effect was truly hilarious. On the bright side, however, he only has to shave like once a week.
12: He hates the smell of marigolds due to associations with the violent death of a close friend.
