(no subject)
geez, a lot has happened, i think.
some highlights in no particular order:
- adventures in centralia (c'mon, look it up. it's worth it. there's fire...) involving running into a viking i've met before and having said viking show us around town for 4 hours then feeding us and simultaneously telling us about Irish history, Northeastern US geology, football, and the art of rollercoasters.
- cleaning my room. vacuumed and everything!
- graduating from college, actually enjoying the ceremony and getting an A on my thesis that I obsessed over.
- having a graduation party that involved friends and relatives in close proximity to each other. there were some strange happenings, like mick jagger's doppleganger from 1970 showing up, my dad's shirt slowly becoming more and more unbuttoned as the night progressed, my very skinny cousin getting my friends drunk and showing us once and for all that some stereotypes really are true (we're russian), my 15 year old brother showing up late and drunk from a bar mitzvah and again reafirming this stereotype, and finally, quality trampolining.
- finding spanish speaking partners on craigslist and not only are they not creepy but they are really awesome and nice individuals.
- friends at work? this has the potential to be positive, so i'll stick it in here.
- learning about the internet and small victories at work.
- summer!
and now i will throw in some negatives, just so it-that-is-in-charge does not read this and think that life is going too great.
- breaks failing in baltimore and having to not only spend all day there but also having to drop a billion dollars fixing the car.
- car acquiring a rather unhealthy rattle, followed by a check engine light show, followed by me having to drop another billion dollars into fixing it.
- general uneasiness
