(no subject)
It's been a long week.
My computer took a nose dive. Windows decided to run an update (for what I'm not sure) and it took out my operating system. Windows dies, luckily my files stayed in tact though. So, for the last two days I've been backing up data via a Live distribution of linux. And of course, because I have NTFS drives, it was a living hell. I've been sliding HDD's and optical drives between cases trying to get this worked out.
Right now I'm still in base win xp with no service packs. I'm trying to get everything installed again and updated before I catch a bug.
That's pretty much how my week has been.
Oh, also my 2nd harddrive with most of my music and everything else died. Thankfully I backed that up to ipod a month and a half ago.
I'm open to recommendations for new software packages. Ya know, if ya think there is something I could use.
