the rosie and violetta show

so a week ago sunday my friend k. and i dressed up as enormous flowers, with big papier mache things on our heads that we made. there had been some heavy-duty stressful papiermacheing and painting at my place during the preceding three weeks. there were some moments when i wished we had made sure the costumes were ready FIRST before getting a gig ( Read more... )

how wonderful ... truly. your lovely recounting of the event almost makes it feel like we're there, too, peering through the door as well. i'm glad you got so much attention and a receptive audience, especially after all you two put into the show.

The Rosie and Violetta show sounds amazing! Im not surprised you got two more gigs out of it.
Did you get any photos? If not of the show, of the two of you in your costumes?
Your live journal entries are becoming more and more dreamy....and this is your life!!

your life is dreamy too, from what i've glimpsed of it!

you'd be a good addition to the rosie and violetta show. i have an extra little accordion (like yours in canada) that you could play. you could juggle, too!

we posed in our costumes after the show and someone took a shot, which isn't developed yet, and foolishly i forgot to hold my accordion when i posed. our show at the international school is tomorrow, and i'll give my camera to someone in the audience and ask them to try to get a few shots. if they turn out, i'll post them.

Oh, I loved that blue moon pinata!!! And as for the blue dress, the last time I wore that you dressed up crazy as well, with hat you made out of an old book, which you papier mached to look like the pages were blowing open!! You certainly to make it your occupation to play dress-up!

of course Krakow loves a spectacle and loves the strange and beautiful - much like you do! you fit right in!
