the sixteenth vision

[Morgana is curled up beneath her covers, but not asleep. Which is hardly a surprise -- she tries to avoid sleeping, when she can. Too many dreams plague her. She wants to take Gabriel up on his offer; at this point, she would almost say needs to, but she still feels like she should talk to Arthur first. Tell him what she is ( Read more... )

[Arthur had not been avoiding Morgana all day. Because that would imply there was a reason to avoid her, which there wasn't. Because what had happened... well it was just best left not dealt with. He could certainly ignore the fact that he might have certain feelings about Morgana. And that's all there was to it. He would just ignore the situation entirely.

He had spent much of the day drilling the people he was training, engaging them in spars and perhaps being slightly harder on them than necessary before going for a late evening ride. But after a hot shower he was feeling much better. Pulling on his breeches he was about to get his shirt on when he felt a momentary dizziness, causing him to lurch to the ground. When he looked up, he was at Morgana's feet.]

Morgana?!

[Morgana let out a small screen as Arthur suddenly appeared. The covers fall off her as she sat up abruptly -- and then she scrambles to cover herself again, though her nightgown is modest enough.

And then she stares. And tries not to. He's -- he's --]

What are you doing here?

[Her voice is maybe a little squeakier than she would like.]

[When Wilson appeared, Arthur automatically went for his sword, which wasn't there. Not that he wanted to kill the man, but it was instinct.]

What are you doing here?

[Morgana turns abruptly to face Wilson, dropping the covers once again in her shock. She's not sure what surprised her more -- that Wilson had also suddenly appeared in her bedroom, or that he was back.

SHe just barely manages to pull together her wits.]

What are BOTH of you doing here?

[Arthur looked from Morgana to Wilson and back again.]

I was just getting through taking a shower back in my apartment.

And I was in my bed, trying to sleep. That doesn't really explain anything, now does it?

[This is not a conversation she wants to have while in bed. She points imperiously to the door.]

Get out so I can get dressed.

[Normally she would just put on her dressing down and be done with it, but with Arthur half-naked, and Wilson having never seen her in anything but her normal clothes...she wants to have as many layers of clothing on her as possible before facing htem again.]

And keep it quiet. My roommate is sleeping.

[Arthur was not quite so compliant as Wilson was. Her ton was entirely unnecessary. It wasn't his fault he'd been suddenly thrown across the City.]

Well you don't have to be so rude about it, it's not our fault.

[Even still, Arthur was smart enough to do what she asked.]

[Arthur is out the door before Morgana can respond, so she just makes a face behind his back and gets dressed as quickly as possible. Easier said than done, as she must balance her modesty with her vanity. She may want to cut down on the sexual tension in the room, but that doesn't mean she wants to look dowdy.]

I didn't even know you were gone. When did you leave?

[Arthur was miffed at the fact that because Morgana had gotten it into her head to move out, his apartment was no longer right next door. It would have been much more convenient if it had been.]

And do you have your device? Can you see what's happening and what the curse is?

[Arthur held up a hand to object, even because part of him realized that it was pointless to do so.]

No. Just- no. Morgana's my friend.
