Did anyone take the time to read the transcript of Obama's speech on race?

I'm not stumping for Obama - I'm not stumping for anyone. A great speaker is not necessarily a great President. A great speaker is not even necessarily a person with great ideas - he could just have a kick ass speechwriter. I don't get that impression here - I think at minimum the ideas are his own.
And, they are good ideas. And, the discourse in which he invites Americans to engage is profound and simple. And, odds are good that we won't.
Because it's excruciatingly uncomfortable.
But, I will admit to being just a tiny bit thrilled, for just a tiny minute, at the prospect.
