I am so fucking done with this country and it's ignorant, apathetic mass of collective flesh. I'm done with the climate of fear which is used to wrap discrimination and true immorality in an excusable package so that God-fearing people can feel comfortable in their prejudice and hate.
I'm tired of believing that truth will win out.
I'm tired of expecting decency to rise to the surface of the mire.
I'm tired of watching logic and reason be ground up under the wheels of hypocrisy, and left in a bloody heap at the side of some alleged moral high road.
I'm stunned and saddened by those who lead the way, uneducated, ill-informed, self-righteous fools that they are.
But.
I'm disheartened and disgusted by the ones who sit comfortably on the side and let the fools march on. Myself included.
