I need a vacation.
I just finished the second full week of training our new professional staff. My new colleagues are brilliant, hilarious, and amazing - but I’m totally fried. I’ve been fighting a minor illness all week. Nothing big, just a sore throat and major need for sleep. I can’t complain, but it’s kept me from running a lot of errands I’d hoped to get done. This is my last weekend in Oakland before I leave for San Diego and Vegas. I’m hoping folks will join me at Thai Temple and Lake Anza on Sunday. I’m bound and determined to soak up as much sun as possible this summer.
For now, Shamai has convinced me to go see Superman with him. Under normal conditions, I wouldn’t be into it. Tonight, I’m just tired enough.
