Politics are crap. Not the events of politics, I don't really care either way, but that so many people are being obnoxious, or angry, or upset about politics, that is crap. They enjoy whining. And to honestly tell you, most of Quebec does not wish to separate. Only reason they vote the Bloc was because they wanted to get back at the Libs for the Sponsorship Scandal, not to mention, the head of the Bloc Party said he will not push for a separation from Canada (let us however ignore the fact he practically took back that promise once he got 55 seats)
Also from what I learned, even if the referendum did pass saying they want to separate, there's a lot more to it then that. Honestly, I think that was the only reason Parliment allowed the damn referendums. Because they knew even if they tried and got a majority saying oui, they ain't gonna get far. Too many issues will need to be resolved before it could be made official. And chances are, they'd give up halfway through.
Speaking of Microsoft *kills them*
It annoys the shite outta me to keep having to go to my spell checker simply to add the words 'colour', 'colours' 'Colour' to the damn dictionary. LEARN TO SPELL ALREADY! THE WORD COLOUR HAS A U!

You are right, most of Quebec's residents does not wish to separate and there is a large portion of them who are francophones. And yes poeple who think that saying "oui" will mean an immediate separation are strongly mistaken. I don't beleive that the fervent separatists truly understand all the steps it would take to really achieve a complete separation from Canada. And honestly, would Quebec be better removed from Canada? I don't think so.
