Anything that starts with Lorne has to be good.
Teyla's dead :(
"Save the baby, save the world!"
Evil!Michael... it's kinda sad, they created the monster...
The Wraith Queen: "You will pay for this." I felt sorry for her.
Maybe it's weird and wrong, but to me the Wraith have a style. They have a society that they've lived in for thousands of years. While Michael is just revolting and unnatural. A psycho and his hybrids. *shievers*
Heroic Sam. Phoenix. I didn't like Carter in Atlantis. Weir gave it all she had and they killed her off. Finally, Sam did her bit. There might have been tears. (The whole beaming the crew down to the planet and the captain going down with his/her ship is effective, but...)
Ronon didn't see the point in staying after John and Teyla were gone :( Ronon and Todd!! I love Todd! His "Indeed" sounded a little wrong, no-one but Teal'c is allowed to say "Indeed" in the Stargates.
Woosley. Yes! Yes! But I hope he's going to be a little nicer in S5.
McKeller. UGH. I liked Kayley in Firefly, so was more than willing to like Keller. But she's such a one-dimensional character, and her little squeaks and nods are annoying. The only reason that McKeller happened was because they were the only survivors. That timeline is as depressing as the ancient!Weir one.
Rodney getting old all alone (awww Jeannie!), surrounded by whiteboards and stuff *sniffles*
General Lorne! SQUEEE!!
"Rodney, you're a genius!" *major squee*
"I'll be giving Zelenka a stern talking to." boss!Rodney
Wonder how they'll survive the explosion... The building looked pretty much destroyed... Was this another timeline? Will they be beamed up by the wonderous Caldwell? Or will the 1st ep of S5 start with Lorne coughing from all the dust and calling out if anyone else survived?
As far as I can tell this ep was inspired by (ie the following were "lovingly ripped off): Heroes, SG-1: Unending, 1969, 2010, Ethon... and probably many more that I haven't seen.
P.S. Was about to post when realised haven't said anything about the McSheppyness. Since the ep is about Rodney working for 25 years to bring John back I guess it's self-explanatory :)
ep,
