(no subject)
things that are keeping me sane right now are listening to van morrison, ben and jerry's "half baked" ice cream, taking 6-hr. naps, and the knowledge that i have this monday off. score!
i'm jealous of my family: they are leaving to go up to the bay tomorrow for a wedding, and they get to stay in the city for 4 days! i love san francisco...i love the stores, i love the clam chowder, i love the atmosphere. pout. all i have to say is that they'd better bring me back something cool!
speaking of "cool," i've decided that this quarter is not that cool. i like my classes (except for ethnic studies, which is increasingly boring) and i like my new job, but combined together with my growing stress over money issues and my inability to stop thinking about the future, i want this quarter to end (which isn't good, because it's only just begun!!) marni and stephanie need to get over it and just move down here, already. and while they're at it, they should bring hypatia down here too. hell, why doesn't everyone just move down here?? that would make san diego 374298374923 times better.
alright my loves, as you can see it's 2:30 in the morning and i'm still up, with a class at 10 AM that i MUST go to. i've missed the last two lectures (and it's only second week, eek!)
wish me luck waking up in 7 hours...
