done!
hooray!!! i'm finished with teaching!! for now :D we finished december off with a christmas pageant and now i'm free!! for a whole TWO WEEKS!! how glorious is that?? i definitely felt like nathan, who was crying because he was going to miss his friends over break..i felt like i would miss my coworkers and that i would actually miss being in school teaching...i think it's actually lisa and kurt who i'll miss hanging out with..but that's alright.
now, i'm looking ahead to my FIRST CLASS flight! haha..funny...and going home to spend the time with my family. it's just so amazing that the time has flown by so quickly. i remember back in august thinking that i would never be able to survive and that it was so amazing that people even got through their first year of teaching. now, i'm at an entirely different crossroads and i have to think about what i want to do next year...should i stay in the charter school and be able to teach the same grade in the same school? or do i go where i feel my spiritual life is pulling me and teach at a catholic school where i'll need to resettle...new coworkers, new school culture...or do i try to move to philly? is the community here going to get better next year? or will it flop? do i go where i think i'll feel more comfortable? do i risk that not working out? questions..questions..questions..
all that i can ponder on my way home! :D
