Poor Tommy

Tommy, my beautiful nephew, was born with cerebral palsy because of an annapolis hospital doctor's error. He has made much progress over the 5 years since birth, although his right leg is the only functioning limb on his body. He underwent some testing yesterday at U of M for this device that injects some kind of fluid into his spine in order to loosen up his muscles, which would allow him to move his other limbs more freely. My brother Tom and Mom were there with him for what I heard was a excruciatingly painful test. The good news is that he may get this device put into his body permanently, which would cancel the need for regular botox shots and other painful checkups that are part of his current routine. I posted a picture of him earlier for all who would like to catch a glance of my amazing, cuddly godson and hero, Baby Tommy. Get em' boy!
