FOQ - Finally Officially Quitted
Finally decided to tender my resignation on Monday after so long of dilly-dallying like waiting for bonus and trying out senior role for a while. For that matter, being a senior associate in audit sucks big time. Not only u have to plan and formulate a detailed audit plan for the various departments, u have to deal with other admin matters like staffing (which is really a pain in the ass due to the turnover and the new clients we got), do billings, making appointments for your managers and attend meetings, not to mention dealing with super-tighter deadlines due to more courses this year as well as coaching GAs. Well, at least I got past the planning stage of the audit and started on some interim work.
I'm sure my parents won't be too happy about quitting without finding a job, I mean after they told me about their opinions and other ppl concur with them. I feel sorry for letting them down, but I think this is best for me at this point of time.
Well... just went through 1st round of interview with the HR of one of the banks. I did babble something silly at one point of time, but hopefully it doesn't affect much. Haha.. Just another 2 to 3 interviews more to go if I get past this!
My partner is just the best! Not only did she talked to me and propose to hold my resignation until I officially get a job, she even asked me if I'm interested in internal audit in an investment bank. Simply love tat pretty gal!!!
Looking forward to a change in job and hopefully get my social life back =)
