Japanese Cultural Expo....

Was pretty freakin sweet!!! ^_^

It was tonite from 5:30-8:30p and I had such a good time. :-)

There was good food(SUSHI!!! XD) and entertainment, and I got to wear a Kimono!! XD I'll have a pic up once I get it. :P

There was Japanese student singers, CUTE little children violinist(soo cute), dancers(doing the yosakoi and so-ran dance), Martial Artists, a group called Austin Taiko(w/big drums), and really kool booths with neat stuff.

There was a Calligraphy booth where they wrote almost anything you wanted them too(I got mine, Niki's, and my mom's name done). A Kimono booth where you got dressed in a kimono and got your picture taken. Then there was an Origami and a Kiri-e(paper cutting) booth. There was also a booth for the kidies with this really fun drumming game, that's like Donkey Konga, but with drums and sticks(I beat Niki in the game!!! ^_^) There was also a martial arts booth, but I didn't see it, oh well. The Asahi booth was pretty kool too, because it sold Japanese snacks/drinks/ and other things(I bought some Pocky and some Ramune).

There was a fashion table too that had some pretty cute tops, but unfortunatly they were all too small for me. *tear* This is why I wish(sometimes) that I didn't have broad shoulders. Oh well.

Anywho, that's all I wanted to say about that. NITE!!
